Acupressure points of Oriental Medicine

Aromatic Acupressure refers to the therapeutic application of carefully selected essential oils to the Organ Meridians and Acupressure points of Oriental Medicine, and emphasizes the energetic nature of their actions.

The Meridians are vital energy channels controlling both our gross and subtle anatomies through which “Chi” (energy) circulates.

Acupressure is an ancient healing art using finger pressures and massage on the “tsubos” (acupressure points) so “chi” can be encouraged to flow and healing can begin. Developed in Asia over 5,000 years ago, Acupressure Therapy is effective in the relief of stress-related ailments, releasing tension, increasing circulation and reducing pain. It is ideal for self-treatment and preventive health care for boosting the immune system.

Rather than focus solely on a client’s symptoms, the inherently holistic approach of Oriental Medicine concentrates on addressing the underlying imbalances at the root of any health problem. Aromatic Acupressure & Meridian Massage combines all the above with body-mind intention (intuition, trust and energetic sensitivity) creating a powerfully healing and incredibly relaxing treatment.
